Now that you have ensured that you meet the requirements of the selection process for the Chevening scholarships, have organized your documentation and selected the courses of interest to you, it is time to apply.
Follow the checklist we created to ensure a stress-free application submission!
1. It is recommended to use Google Chrome to access the application platform.
2. Application form questions are word count. For questions that you must include a written answer, there is a minimum word count of 100 and a maximum of 500 words per answer, so make sure you meet these requirements. Answers containing less than 100 words will not be considered.
3. Check the file size and format! Whenever you upload a document, make sure it meets the minimum requirements. The online system will only accept PDF documents no larger than 5MB.
4. Get Organized! You can preview all sections of the application form at the beginning of the session and before starting to complete it, to familiarize yourself with what is required.
5. Make sure your text does not contain plagiarism! If you use responses that concern others, the reading committee and the independent body that performs a first review of all eligible applications received will place your form on a plagiarism list. This will affect your overall score and may result in your elimination. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully check your answers, ensuring that they are original and not copied from other sources.
6. Save the form frequently when filling in the questions, this will prevent you from losing the information entered, avoid mishaps. Do not use your browser's "Back" and "Forward" buttons. This will cause you to exit the system and you will lose all unsaved work. Navigate through the application form pages using the menu links on the form.
7.Don't be hasty! Try to start filling out the application form in advance, this way you will have enough time to include all the necessary information in a clear and objective way, fulfilling the program requirements and with time to review it before submitting the application, because after submission of the form you will not be able to make changes.
8.You can only submit ONE application! Only one application per person will be accepted, if you choose to cancel it, you will not be able to start another application until the application period opens again.
