In an increasingly competitive market, graduation is not the end for those who want to see the recruiter's eyes shine. And to reach this level, all care is little...
If a master's degree is good, does living abroad automatically make it great?
Not always, my dears. But don't worry!
Part of the job of a good advising is helping the student to evaluate the best option – according to their personal and professional goals. And we are going to share some of these little secrets with you. Are ready?

1 - Selection Process
Here in Brazil, masters have a more academic bias and therefore, it is usual to present a pre-research project and/or experience in the area, even during the registration period! 😱
In the United Kingdom, the application consists of an application and a series of documents, such as: motivation letter and recommendation for example (a lot, too!). But, the academic project will only be necessary if your course is focused on the research area. Ufa!

2 - Pedagogical Lines
Here, the master's degree is divided into: academic, which, as its name implies, is geared towards an academic career and research; or professional, which is geared towards the job market.
On the other hand, in the land of the Queen there are lines for all tastes: the Research Degree, which are geared towards research, such as the PhD (for an academic career) and the Master of Philosophy (MPhil).
For those looking for more professional Master's programs, the Taught Degree…..
Attention: the programs most sought after by international students and the best known within this team are: Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc) and Master of Law (LLM), which can be a great option if you want to acquire knowledge advanced in a given area.
You can also opt for a professional certification. And in this case, if you are interested in the Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma.

3 - Course Duration
The Brazilian courses last two years. But, crossing the ocean, there are options between one and two years for the completion of studies and research.

4 - Recognition
Finally, an aspect that has no difference!! That's right!!
In both destinations, you can count on excellent institutions that will make all the difference in your journey: academic or professional.
But, whenever we talk about validating a certification, it is necessary to confirm the requirements, even before buying the one-way ticket, or seek the support of an educational advisor – who can update you on scholarships, even!!! (#Fis the tip). It is also important to consider the costs of staying in the chosen city for the duration of the master's degree.
But…
…studying in the UK goes far beyond subjects or curriculum. Because the classes are all in English, it is possible to have the opportunity to develop your language (both spoken and written).
Want more?
All cultural and regional knowledge that comes in the daily life of those who live in the city (different from the tourist experience). But, in no way, we are saying that you should not take the opportunity to get to know the tourist spots and nearby cities: everything that is seen adds to learning and personal growth.

Did it make it easier to decide?
If you have any doubts, come and have a coffee with people.
